NORFOLK, Va. - The Lady Monarch lacrosse team is instituting a Player of the Week this season, calling it the "Mane Monarch".
This weeks winner is sophomore Emily Austerberry. Last season Austerberry scored three goals, including one in the 10-9 win over George Mason. She took a majority of draw controls on the year, and finished third on the team with 12 draw controls.

Sue Stahl Honored
ODU's all-time winningest lacrosse coach, Sue Stahl, was honored Saturday night at the football game. Stahl led the Lady Monarchs for 21 seasons, and was named CAA Coach of the Year five times. She was joined on the field by the lacrosse team and lacrosse alumni, who were in town for the annual alumni game.
