TOWSON, MD-- The Old Dominion University Lady Monarchs shot 307 today to win theTowson Women's Golf Invitational. Sophomore Kimberley Bradbury (Derbyshire, England) shot 73 today to finish the 36 hole event at 151 and tie for second place,five strokes behind the champion.
Yesterday, ODU was tied for second, four strokes behind William and Mary. Today,the Lady Monarchs made up the four strokes and won by four with a 36 hole scoreof 624, followed by W&M at 628.
Sophomores Elizabeth Haycock (Birmingham, England) and Gemma Fuster (Barcelona, Spain) finished at 154 to tie for fourth place. Haycock shot 76 and Fuster 79 today. Harin Lee of St. John's was the individual champion at 146.
ODU returns to action, Oct.3rd and 4th at the Wolfpack Golf Classic in Dayton Nevada.
