VIRGINIA BEACH, VA-- Former Monarch golfer Seth Norman ('11) leads the Payton Memorial Tournament and fellow Monarch Sam Wall ('11) by two strokes after shooting a 4-under par 65 in the first round of the senior/cadet division.
Sam Wall, the Monarchs team MVP this past season is tied for second with at 67.Current Monarch John Dawson fired a 69 and is in a tie for seventh. TheTournament is being held in Virginia Beach at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht.
