CASCADE LOCKS, Ore. - The Old Dominion University coed sailing team moved up three spots on the second day of the 2011 Gill / ICSA Dinghy National Championships. The Monarchs currently sit 14th overall and are 21 points shy of cracking the Top 10.
A total of 12 races were complete on day two and as many as 18 races could be sailed on Wednesday, the final day of the national championships.
Boston College sits in first overall with 104 points, while Harvard is in second with 115.
Old Dominion posted eight Top 10 results on day two, including a second-place finish in race 4B and a fourth-place result in race 6B.
The final day of racing for the Gill / ICSA Dinghy National Championship is scheduled to begin Wednesday at 1 p.m. eastern time.
