Women's Lacrosse Travels to Towson and Delaware for Key Weekend

TOWSON, Md. - Old Dominion University women's lacrosse takes on Towson and Delaware this weekend in their final road weekend of the regular season.

The Lady Monarchs have won three-straight and sit at 3-1 in CAA play.

Lisa Bernardini leads the team with 29 goals and 14 assists and was named CAA Player of the Week last week. During the winning streak she has tallied six goals and four assists.

Rebecca Hartrum is second on the team with 16 goals and 20 points while Sarah Wright has 14 goals, five assists for 19 points. Meredith Rogers and Alyssa Dragon each have seven goals on the year.

Sarah Geary has played every minute in goal, stopping 106 shots and picking up a team-best 41 groundballs as well as a team-leading 24 caused turnovers.

About the Tigers
Towson is 8-6 on the year and 4-1 in league play.

Jess Dunn leads the team with 33 goals and 34 points while Sarah Appelt is second on the squad with 15 goals and 16 assists.

Mary Teeters has seen the majority of time in goal and has 114 saves on the year.

About the Blue Hens
Delaware is 7-8 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

Corrine Drost has a team-best 28 goals and 31 points while Julianna Jeffers has 26 goals on the season.

Makenzie Worthington has started all 14 games in goal, making 102 saves.

The Lady Monarchs return home for the regular season finale on April 27 at 7 p.m. when they host William and Mary.
