RICHMOND, Va. - Lisa Bernardini was named the CAA women's lacrosse Player of the Week for all games played from April 11-17, the league announced Monday. Bernardini shared the award with Towson's Jess Dunn and William and Mary's Grace Golden.
Bernardini helped lead the Lady Monarchs to a pair of wins over the weekend. Bernardini scored three goals and recorded two assists in ODU's 9-8 victory over Drexel.
A junior from Langhorne, Pa., Bernardini added two goals and an assist the Lady Monarchs' 6-4 triumph over Hofstra.
Bernardini leads ODU with 29 goals and 14 assists on the year for a team-best 43 points.
The Lady Monarchs are on a three-game winning streak and are 3-1 in the CAA, tied in the standings with William and Mary.
ODU is back in action on Friday, April 22 when they travel to Towson for a 7 p.m. contest.
