NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's lacrosse continues its three-game homestand Friday against Drexel and Sunday against Hofstra. The Lady Monarchs host the Dragons on Friday at 7 p.m. in the annual Scholarship game while wrapping up the homestand on Sunday against Hofstra at 1 p.m.

Old Dominion (2-8, 1-1) is coming off their first Colonial Athletic Association win of the season with an exciting 10-9 triumph over George Mason on Sunday. Rebecca Hartrum scored three goals and the defense did not allow a George Mason shot in the final 23 seconds to hang on for the win.

Lisa Bernardini leads the squad with 24 goals and 11 assists for 35 points. With two points in the win over Mason, Bernardini moved into 10th in school history with 126 points, passing current assistant coach Melody Shotwell. The junior also is fourth all-time with 46 career assists.

Hartrum is second on the team with 14 goals and 17 points while Sarah Wright has 10 goals and 14 points.

Goalie Sarah Geary ranks sixth in the country with 3.5 groundballs per game and is 18th in the nation with nine saves per game. She is also sixth in the country with 2.5 caused turnovers per game.

About the Dragons
Drexel is 8-3 on the year and 2-0 in CAA play. Charlotte Wood leads the team and is second in the CAA with 33 goals while Alyse Maiden leads the team with 38 points on 24 goals and 14 assists.

Whitney Johnson has appeared in all 11 games in goal, stopping 59 shots.

About the Pride
Hofstra is 4-7 on the year and 0-2 in CAA play. Hofstra travels to William and Mary on Friday before coming to Norfolk on Sunday.

The Pride is led by Jill Maier who leads the team with 26 goals while Stephanie Rice is second on the team with 17 goals and eight assists.

Jackie Pandolf has played every minute in goal and has stopped a league best 120 saves.
