COSTA CARIBE RESORT, Puerto Rico-- Old Dominion sophomore Garth McGee (Bangor, Northern Ireland shot 73 in the first round and is tied for 20th, six strokes backat the Caribbean Intercollegiate. Sam Wall (Essex, England) shot 74 while Tom Wilde(Berkshire, England) and Neil Henderson (North Berwick, Scotland) shot 75.
As a team, ODU is in seventh after one round with a 297. USC Upstate leads theevent with a 283.
McGee trails tournament leader Brian Horton of USC Upstate who fired a 67. Ben Vertzof Nova Southeastern and Taylor Noel of Tampa shot 69.
