NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer graduated four student-athletes and went 4-12-1 in the 2010 season.
The Lady Monarchs' Ashley Kukura earned her third-straight All-CAA honor. The senior had one assist on the season.
ODU got their first win of the year with a dominant 4-1 win over VMI, with Jocelyn Weidner recording a career high five points on two goals and an assist.
Old Dominion got back in the win column with a 2-1 overtime win over Radford. Kelly Evans scored her first career goal to give ODU the lead and Amber Cook scored her first career game-winner just two minutes into overtime for the victory.
The Lady Monarchs won their first conference game of the season in another overtime thriller, this one a 2-1 triumph over Delaware. Ashlee Coutu gave ODU the lead in the first half, and after Delaware tied the score with just six seconds left in the game, the Lady Monarchs responded when Meghan Cozen's knocked in the game-winner.
ODU won its first home game of the season defeating Northeastern 2-1 on a pair of Victoria Johnson goals, while Evans assisted on both tallies.
Johnson and Cook led the Lady Monarchs with four goals apiece while Johnson led the team with 10 points. Weidner and freshman Kate Kelly each had three goals and an assist for seven points.
Brianna Alvarado made 16 starts in goal stopping 69 shots while Laura Bush played in four games recording four saves.
ODU graduates seniors Kirstin Walker, Ashley Kukura, Alyssa Pietrobono and Kelsey Williams.
