ODU vs. Longwood Video Preview
NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's lacrosse returns home to host Longwood on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
The Lady Monarchs are coming off their first win of the season with an 11-10 win over St. Joseph's on Saturday.
Meredith Rogers scored the game-winner with 21 seconds left off an assist from Rebecca Hartrum for the win.
Lisa Bernardini scored four goals and assisted on another while Hartrum added two goals and two assists.
Bernardini leads the team with eight goals and four assists on the year while Sarah Wright has five goals and three assists.
Junior Sarah Geary has played every minute in goal and has made 43 saves on the season.
Longwood brings a 4-3 record into the game. The two teams have one common opponent, with each team losing to Richmond. ODU dropped a 12-8 decision to the Spiders while Longwood fell 24-14.
Cara O'Brien leads the Lancers with 23 goals and four assists while Kesley Dean is second on the team with 13 goals and five assists.
Juli Liebig has started all seven games on the year making 73 saves.
ODU is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Virginia Tech for a 1 p.m. start.
