PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Old Dominion women's basketball team wrapped up its regular season Wednesday evening, falling 65-51 at Drexel. The Lady Monarchs will enter the upcoming Colonial Athletic Association Tournament as the No. 2 seed.
Old Dominion (20-9 14-4 CAA) will play the winner of No. 7 seed Delaware and No. 10 seed Northeastern in the CAA Tournament quarterfinals on Friday, March 11 at 5 p.m. This year's tournament will be held at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md. starting March 10.
Sophomore Jackie Cook led the Lady Monarchs Wednesday, tallying 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Junior Tia Lewis was the only other ODU player in double figures as the forward posted 10 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
