PINEHURST, NC-- Senior Sam Wall (Essex, England) shot 73 in the final round for a 54-hole total of 223 for 26th place at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. The Monarchs as a team finished 12th at 909.
UNC Wilmington won the event with an 873 score, six strokes ahead of Virginia Tech.
Wall shot 70 in the first round, but sliped to an 80 in the second. Garth McGee (Bangor, Northern Ireland) finished at 229 for 47th, and James Brockington (Oxfordshire, England) shot 78 in the final round for a 231 total score for 50th.
