NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis takes on No. 63 Winthrop on Saturday and ventures into Colonial Athletic Association play on Sunday when they take on James Madison. Both matches will be at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Facility.
The Lady Monarchs face the Eagles on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and host the Dukes on Sunday, also at 10 a.m.
ODU is led by senior Joanna Dobrowolska, who is 2-1 on the year, as well as sophomore Diana Ivanova, who posts a 2-0 mark.
Winthrop was ranked 63rd in the latest ITA Rankings, while the doubles team of Sandra Herrera and Giovanna Portioli is ranked 87th in the nation.
James Madison's Jacqueline Palmucci is ranked No 106 in singles play.
ODU will return to action next weekend as they take on UMBC and Texas Arlington at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Facility.
