NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion head football coach Bobby Wilder was a featured speaker at the Tidewater Builders Association's membership meeting last week at the Waterside Marriott.

Invited by Jeff Ainslie, an Old Dominion Board of Visitors member whose name adorns the state-of-the-art game day building at Foreman Field, Coach Wilder shared some motivational words for the year ahead that transcend to both the playing field and business world.

Coach Wilder expressed the importance of teamwork and problem solving, keeping a positive, mental attitude, and bringing passion and determination to everything you do , in addition to having attitudes of gratitude and how setbacks are comebacks waiting to happen.

Tidewater Builders Association represents more than 700 companies who serve the shelter industry in South Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Their members employ more than 30,000 people with businesses that provide products and services that go into the design, construction, purchase and renovation of a home. Their mission is to improve the climate for quality housing for all incomes, promote the growth and development of the shelter industry, promote excellence and professionalism among members through educational and networking opportunities, and support and enhance the community through charitable projects.
