NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's tennis lost a tight 4-3 match to Richmond Wednesday at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center.
The loss is the second-straight 4-3 loss for the Lady Monarchs.
ODU earned the doubles point my winning at the number one and three doubles spots. Joanna Dobrowolska and Melissa Esnal Olguin won in a thrilling 9-8 victory by winning the tiebreaker, 7-4. Diana Ivanova and Juliana Pires won 8-4 at the three spot.
Dobrowolska won her fifth-straight singles match with a 6-2, 7-5 win at number one while Esnal Olguin won at number three with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph.
ODU is back in action on Friday when they take on Liberty at 2 p.m.
