NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University Sailing Team is onboard with the Extreme Food Drive as part of ABC's popular Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The sailing team's goal is to collect a real boat-load of food for this drive and deliver one of ODU's 14 collegiate racing dinghies, filled with food onto the court during halftime of the February 2 men's basketball game versus Delaware.
Help the sailing team fill the boat by dropping off non-perishables at the Old Dominion University Sailing Center. The most needed items by the Food Bank of Southeast Virginia are: Peanut Butter, Chunky Soups, Canned Meats, Canned Tuna, Canned Vegetables, Juice, Cereal, Macaroni and Cheese, Pasta, Pasta Sauces.
