Tickets for the Monarchs basketball games with James Madison University on Jan. 19 at 7 p.m, and VCU on Jan. 22 at 4 p.m. are sold out. Less than 200 student tickets remain for the James Madison contest, and ODU students with a current ID can pick up their ticket at the Constant Center box office from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, and Tuesday, Jan. 18 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. No student guest tickets are available. All student tickets for the VCU game have been distributed.
The Old Dominion - JMU game will be televised on The Comcast Network and aired locally on Cox 11 in Hampton Roads, while the VCU game will be produced by Comcast and aired in the Comcast Mid-Atlantic, Philadelphia, New England, and Sports South markets.

The two teams played only once last year, with the Monarchs winning, 57-46 in the Constant Center.
Hofstra's last win over the Monarchs was a 60-51 decision in New York during the 2008-09 season.
ODU's last win at Hofstra was the 2006 NIT quarterfinal game.
Tonights game will feature the CAA's top two steals leaders, Charles Jenkins and Kent Bazemore.
LAST GAME
Drexel opened the second half outscoring ODU 16-2 and went on to defeat the Monarchs, 62-57 on ESPNU Thursday night. Kent Bazemore and Keyon Carter led the Monarchs with 13 points each. The Dragons also became the first team to outrebound the Monarchs this season, winning the battle of the boards, 47-37.
ODU led by as many as 12,with 3:51 left in the first half, 30-18 and by eight 32-24 at halftime. But after a Kent Bazemore basket with 17:55 left put ODU up 34-26, the Monarchs would not score another point until 11:05 mark on a free throw by Chris Cooper. At that point, Drexel was up 40-35. Ben Finney scored 12 points and hauled down
a team best seven rebounds. ODU shot .349 from the floor, while Drexel shot .389. ODU committed only five
turnovers, a season best.

2011 Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness weekend --
Friday, Jan. 28 through Sunday, Jan. 30, in which college basketball coaches nationwide will wear sneakers with their sideline attire to raise cancer awareness and remind fans that by making healthy lifestyle choices, such as regular exercise and a healthy diet, they can reduce their own cancer risk. Coaches vs. Cancer is a collaboration of the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
