GAME NOTES

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Old Dominion women's basketball team will look to remain perfect in Colonial Athletic Association play as the Lady Monarchs take on Georgia State in Atlanta on Thursday. Game time has been moved to 5 p.m. due to inclement weather in the Atlanta area.

The contest can be heard on STAR 1310 AM with Richie Summerville on play-by-play. The pregame show begins at 4:30 p.m.

Old Dominion (9-5, 3-0 CAA) has won five of its last six game and is tied with VCU for first in the CAA. Additionally, the Lady Monarchs have won nine of their last 10 league road games dating back to last season.

The Panthers have lost seven of their last 10 games, but topped Hofstra , 84-70, on Sunday to pick up their first CAA win of the year. Georgia State is 4-4 at home this season and 1-0 in home league games. Chan Harris leads the Panthers in scoring and rebounding. She averages 13.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Angelique Burtts also averages in double figures with 12.4 points per game.

The Panthers and Lady Monarchs both played Georgia Tech in their non-conference slate. Georgia State fell 66-56 at Tech, while ODU upended the Yellow Jackets 65-63 in Norfolk on November 14. Both squads have also faced George Mason in conference play thus far with the Panthers losing at home by 24 points and the Lady Monarchs edging the Patriots by four.

Old Dominion leads the all-time series 9-1.
