ODU's five-game winning streak came to an end with a 75-67 loss at CAA rival Delaware Saturday night. Frank Hassell led with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Kent Bazemore had 17 points and 10 boards for his first career double-double, and Ben Finney added nine points with a career high 12 rebounds. Train Iliadis scored 11 and Chris Cooper hauled down a career high eight rebounds. ODU shot .350 (21-6) from the floor and committed 11 first-half turnovers. UD shot .431 (22-51) and committed only six turnovers. ODU outrebounded the Fightin' Blue Hens, 48-32. Jawan Carter led UD with 29 points.

Sheriff Bob McCabe will shoot free throws against J.P. Godsey "The Happiest Man in America" from WHKT 1650 AM at halftime of the ODU-UMES game. The Sheriff will also shoot at halftime of the Dayton game.
