First ever meeting between the two schools. ODU played High Point who is also in the Big South earlier this year, winning 79-57.
Other Big South schools include: Coastal Carolina, Winthrop, UNC Asheville, Liberty, Charleston Southern, VMI, Radford and Gardner-Webb.
Presbyterian defeated Auburn over the weekend, 62-59.
ODU and Presbyterian did play each other in football during the 2009 season with the Monarchs winning.
LAST GAME
ODU defeated NIT Champion Dayton, 74-71 back on Dec. 11. Keyon Carter led ODU with a career-high 19 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Trian Iliadis added a career high 15 points and Darius James dished out six assists. ODU dominated the boards, 44-33, despite only shooting .379 (22-58) from the floor, and hit 82.1 (23-28) from the free throw line. ODU is now 3-0 against the Atlantic-10, having beaten three of the top four teams (Xavier, Dayton, Richmond) in that league.
