NEWARK, Del. - Old Dominion University women's soccer will look to get back on track this weekend, as they travel to Delaware Friday and take on Drexel on Sunday.
The two games cap off a tough road trip that saw the Lady Monarchs play six of their last seven games away from home.
About the Lady Monarchs
Old Dominion (2-7-1, 0-4 CAA) has lost six-straight games despite outshooting its opponents 117-87 during the streak.
Freshman Amber Cook leads the Lady Monarchs with four goals and eight points while Jocelyn Weidner is second on the team with three goals and seven points. Rachael Carroll leads the team and ranks third in the CAA with five assists.
Sophomore goalkeeper Brianna Alvarado has started every game for ODU, having made 34 saves.
About the Blue Hens
Delaware is 5-7 overall and 1-3 in the CAA.
Ali Miller leads the team with 14 points on five goals and four assists. Her 14 points is is tied for fifth in the CAA. Shannon Kearney is second on the team with four goals and nine points.
Breanna Stemler has played 10 games in goal, posting a 1.38 goals against average while making 37 saves.
About the DragonsDrexel is 4-7-1 on the year and 0-3-1 in conference play. Jenna Lindsay and Kim Chiarelli are tied for the team lead with six points.
Nicole Sinclair and Victoria Troccoli have split time in goal this season, with the pair posting a combined 1.37 GAA. Sinclair has made 23 saves while Troccoli has stopped 37 shots.
