TULSA, Okla. - Tobias Fanselow became the third member of the Old Dominion University men's tennis team to win a match at the D'Novo/ITA All-American Tennis Championships, defeating Georgia Tech's Dusan Miljevic, Monday in his opening round match.
Fanselow got off to a quick start, taking the first set 6-3 before dropping the second set 6-0. The ODU senior fought back to win the final set 6-2 and move to the second round.
Fanselow, ranked No. 118 in the country, will take on UCLA's Amit Inbar, who is ranked No. 87, on Tuesday.
Fanselow joins Benjamin Chomette and Krzysztof Muzalewski with wins at the championships. Chomette and Muzalewski each went 2-1 in Tulsa.
