NORFOLK, Va. - Senior Alena Voronina led three Lady Monarchs in double figures with 14 points as the Old Dominion women's basketball team held its annual Blue-White scrimmage at the Ted Constant Convocation Center Friday evening.
The Blue team, which consisted of Lady Monarch male practice players, topped the white team 59-45. Junior Tia Lewis and senior Shadasia Green joined Voronina in double-figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Lewis and redshirt sophomore JoNiquia Guilford each pulled in a team-high six rebounds in the contest. Guilford paced the team with four assists.
Old Dominion will next host a pair of exhibitions against Davis & Elkins (Nov. 5) and Bowie State (Nov. 9) before opening the regular season at home against Georgia Tech on November 14 at 2 p.m.
