NORFOLK, VA-- ODU returnees Frank Hassell, Keyon Carter, Ben Finney and Kent Bazemore led their respective teams in the annual Blue-White scrimmage in theTed Constant Convocation Center.
The White squad defeated Blue, 53-51. Senior Frank Hassell led with 21 points and 10 rebounds for White and Ben Finney added 14 points with four rebounds. The twowere 15-22 from the floor. Darius James had three steals and four assists along with six rebounds. Nick Wright added six points, six rebounds and three steals.
Red-shirt junior Kent Bazemore led Blue with 16 points along with three assists, while senior Keyon Carter added 14 points and 11 boards. Junior Trian Iliadisadded eight points on two treys. All 13 Monarchs scored in the contest
The Monarchs return to action on Monday, Nov. 1 when they play Virginia Statein an exhibition contest to begin at 7 p.m.
