NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Soccer Monarchs return to the road for a Saturday evening CAAmatchup against the Pride of Hofstra. Game time is 7 p.m. in Hempstead, NY.
Hofstra (4-6-4/2-3-2) is led in scoring by Chris Griebsch and Lukas Ahman with twogoals each. Griebsch also leads the team in assists with two. Junior GoalkeeperGreg Cumpstone has a 0.88 goals against average and four shutouts.
The series is even at 6-6-2 between the two teams. Last year, the game ended ina 0-0 tie.
Sophomore Jordan LeBlanc who scored two goals at Georgia State now leads the Monarchs in scoring with five goals, one assist for 11 points. Gideon Asante andChris Harmon are second with four goals and two assists each for 10 points. Freshman Alex Vaughan has three goals on the season for six points.
Senior goalkeeper Evan Newton has a 0.88 goals against average along with 47 totalsaves.
The Monarchs return home next Wednesday night, Oct. 27 against James Madison.
