RICHMOND, VA--Old Dominion University senior Sam Wall fired a final round 69 for a 54-hole score Of 218 to tie for 17th at the VCU Shootout at the Hermitage Country Club. As a team, the Monarchs finished 14th.
Nate McCoy of Iowa state won the event with a 208, one stroke better than UNC Greensboro's Robert Hoadley. As a team, UNC Wilmington won the title by one stroke over Wake Forest.
ODU returns to action on Oct. 9 and 10 at the Joe Agee Tournament in Williamsburg, Va.
