FAIRFAX, Va. - Tiana Kallenberger scored in the 106th minute to give George Mason a 2-1 double overtime victory over Old Dominion University women's soccer Friday night at George Mason.

The Lady Monarchs scored first, but the Patriots tied the score with less than two minutes remaining in the first half.

After a scoreless second half and overtime, George Mason (5-3-2, 1-0) got the game-winner on Kallenberger's shot from the right wing that beat the ODU keeper to the far post..

Old Dominion (2-4-1, 0-1) got on the scoreboard first when Amber Cook connected on a header, off of a Rachael Carroll corner kick, that beat the GMU goalkeeper to the right. The goal is Cook's team-best fourth of the year and Carroll's assist is her team-best fifth of the year. It is the third time this season that Cook and Carroll have connected for a goal.

The Lady Monarchs had a great chance to take the lead in the 78th minute, when the Patriots were called for a foul in the box, but Victoria Johnson's penalty kick was stopped by Bodenschatz to preserve the tie.

The Patriots tied the score at one late in the first half on Kimmy Moss' first goal of the season.

George Mason outshot ODU 20-11, with Omolyn Davis making seven of those shots. Kate Kelly had four shots for the Lady Monarchs, while Kelly Evans and Kelly each had two shots on goal.

Brianna Alvarado made five saves for ODU while Alex Bodenschatz made four for GMU.

Old Dominion is back in action on Sunday, as they travel to Towson for a 1 p.m. match against the Tigers.
