NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer heads to VMI Friday for the first road game of the year. The match will start at 5:30 p.m. at VMI's Patchin Field.
The Lady Monarchs come into the contest with an 0-0-1 record after a 0-0 tie versus Syracuse on Sunday. Brianna Alvarado made three saves to record the seventh shutout of her career.
The Keydets are 0-1 on the year, with a 6-0 loss to Austin Peay. VMI was outshot 21-8 in the game.
ODU returns home on Friday, Sept. 3 when they take on East Carolina at 7 p.m.
