ALEXANDRIA, VA-- ODU's Seth Norman lost his quarter final match at the VSGA Amateur Championship, while Matthew Watson ('08) reached the semifinals before losing.
Norman fell to Garland Green of Tazewell, 1-up while Watson won his quarterfinalmatch against Allen Barter of Yorktown, 3 and 2. He later lost to Mike Kirby in19 holes, 1 up.
The tournament was held at the Belle Haven Country Club which is 6940 yards anda par 72 course.
