NORFOLK,VA-- Old Dominion University junior lefthander Kyle Hald (Springfield, Va.) has been namedsecond team All-East Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
Hald, a first team All-CAA selection led the league with 95 strikeouts, 42 of them looking. He tied for the league lead with eight wins (8-4), ranked second in innings pitched with 100 and fourth in the CAA with a 2.79 earnedrun average. Opposing hitters had a .262 batting average against him which was ninth in the league. He alsotossed shutouts against LaSalle and George Mason.
