NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Baseball Monarchs travel to Boston, MA. to take on the Huskies of Northeastern in a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series starting Friday. Game time is 3 p.m.
ODU is scheduled to throw lefthander Kyle Hald on Friday. The junior lefthandershares the CAA lead with seven (7-3) wins with Kevin Munson of JMU(7-1), CameronRoth of UNCW(7-2) and matt Davenport of W&M (7-2.
Hald leads the CAA in strikeouts with 77 (8.93) and complete games with four.Donnie Corsner is second in the CAA in walks with 40, while Chris Buss ranksseventh in doubles with 17.
The Monarchs and Northeastern did not play last year. ODU leads the series betweenthe two teams, 8-3.
Les Williams is scheduled to throw Friday for the Huskies. He is 2-3 with a 3.40 ERA. Andrew Leenhouts is 2-2 with a 2.68 ERA, both in the top ten of the CAA.
