ATHENS, Ga. -- The full draws have been released for the 2010 NCAA Women's Singles and Doubles Championships, which begin Wednesday, May 26. ODU junior Nadine Fahoum will face one of the host Bulldogs, 48th ranked Nadja Gilchrist (Georgia) at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in the singles. She will join junior Joanna Dobrowolska to face off against the #4 seeded UCLA tandem Andrea Remynse and Yasmin Schnack on Thursday, May 27.
Fahoum ranks 25th in the nation coming into the national event, after posting a Co-CAA Player of the Year season for the Lady Monarchs and posting a 37-5 mark in singles play this year. She has ranked as high as 13th in the nation this season and won the ITA Atlantic Regional Tournament in the fall. Her match against Gilchrist, playing on her home courts, will be her 14th against a nationally ranked opponent this season. She has posted an 8-5 mark against ranked foes this season.

Doubles action will heat up on Thursday as Fahoum and Dobrowolska take on one of the top pairs in the nation in the opening round. It is the second year in a row the Lady Monarchs have sent a pair to the national tournament as they earned the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic qualifier into the event. Ranked 52nd in the nation, the two have paired for 11 dual victories and a 17-7 overall record in 2009-10.
