NORFOLK, VA- Old Dominion senior shortstop Chris Buss (Rosemount, MN.) has beennamed CAA Player of the Week. Buss hit .563 (9-16) with three homers, six runsscored and 12 RBI in the Monarchs three-game sweep at Hofstra.
Buss slammed two grand slam homers with nine RBI in the Monarchs 14-10 win lastFriday at Hofstra.
Buss completed the season with a .305 batting average with six homers and 43 RBI.He also hit 22 doubles which ranks in the top five in the CAA, and 64 base hitsalso led the team.
