NORFOLK, VA-- ODU sophomore Trian Iliadis was presented the CRC Press Chemistry Achievement award which is given to a chemistry or biochemistry major with thehighest average in chemistry 115N-116N sequence.
The award is sponsored by Taylor and Francis Group, LLC. The award consists of ahardcover copy of the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics and a commemorative scroll. Selection is based on outstanding academic achievement in chemistry.
Iliadis played in all 36 games for the Monarchs with a 3.1 point per game average.He also dished out 26 assists and had 21 steals. He scored a career high 13 points in ODU's win over Charlotte. Iliadis also scored 11 points against Longwood and11th ranked Georgetown.
Earlier this year, Iliadis was named to the Colonial Athletic Association'sAll-Academic first team.
