FAIRFAX STATION, Va. - The Old Dominion women's rowing team placed sixth at the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships at Sandy Run Regional Park on the Occoquan Reservoir.
Buffalo won the championship with 33 points,edging out defending-champion Northeastern by a single point. Northeastern placed second with 32 points, Drexel was third with 23 points, followed by George Mason with 17 points. Delaware (13) and Old Dominion (8) rounded out the field.
Freshman Abby Voss (Alexandria, Va.) was one of 13 rowers named First Team All-CAA following the championship.
The season wraps up for the Lady Monarchs May 7-8th at the Dad Vail Regatta.
