NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion University junior guard Jasmine Parker (Norfolk, Va./Maury) earned another postseason accolade last week, as the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) named her to the All-State Second Team.

Parker finished second on the squad in scoring this year, with 11.1 points per game, while starting all 33 games for the Lady Monarchs. She set career-highs in nearly every statistical category, with 80 steals, 101 rebounds and 114 assists. The 114 dimes rank her eighth on the all-time junior assists list at Old Dominion.

She led the team in scoring 11 times this season, including a 24-point performance at Maryland, setting a new career-high. She earned Second Team All-CAA honors and was also named to the 2010 CAA All-Defensive and All-Tournament Teams.

Parker and the Lady Monarchs reached the second round of the WNIT this season, wrapping up the 2009-10 season with a 19-14 overall record.
