HOT SPRINGS, VA-- ODU senior Eric Onesi (Bear, De.) shot 73 in the first round andis tied for 11th at the CAA Men's Golf Championships. As a team, the Monarchs aretied for sixth after shooting 304.
Towson leads the event with a 283, while John Duthie of Towson shot a 68 to leadall individuals.
Onesi had three birdies on the day as he shot 36 on the front and 37 on the backnine. He is five strokes behind the current leader. ODU junior Seth Norman (Virginia Beach, Va.) is tied for 25th after shooting 76 today.
