NORFOLK, VA--The ODU Baseball Monarchs return home to host the Dukes of James MadisonIn a three-game Colonial Athletic Association series beginning Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex.

The Dukes are led by Matt Browning with a .447 batting average along with four homers and 27 RBI. David Herbek leads the team with 30 RBI and he is hitting .329, while Trevor Knight is hitting .320 with a team best six homers. As a team, JMU is hitting .323 with 31 homers on the season.

The ODU Monarchs are led by senior thirdbaseman Jake McAloose with a .333 average along with four Homers and 20 runs scored. Nathan Hartman leads the team with 29 RBI, while Joe Velleggia leads The team with five homers. Sophomore Kenny Stoneback has the team's best batting average at .407.

Once again junior lefthander Kyle Hald is expected to get the call on Friday night. He has a 4-2 record with a 2.56 earned run average and 48 strikeouts in 45.2 innings of work.

ODU leads the series, 49-40-1 and won last year's series in Harrisonburg, two games to one.
