The top seeded Monarchs (23-8) will take on Towson in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament, Saturday at 12 noon. Towson defeated UNCW, 91-74 in the opening round. GAMENOTES ATTACHED.

NORFOLK, Va. -- For the fifth straight season, the Old Dominion men's basketball has been the hottest ticket in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). A total of 66,582 fans came to witness the Monarchs in CAA action in 2009-2010 with an average of 7,398 turning the turnstiles per conference contest to lead the league.

Old Dominion, which boasts the third active home win-streak in the nation at 23 games, went a perfect 15-0 on its home court this season, including a 9-0 mark in CAA play. The Monarchs averaged 6,995 fans during its 15-game home slate in 2009-2010 for a total of 104,930 people to enter the Ted Constant Convocation Center this season.
