NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion lacrosse team has won back-to-back games and will look to stay hot Saturday as the Lady Monarchs welcome intrastate rival Virginia Tech to the Powhatan Sports Complex for a 1 p.m. contest.
Old Dominion (2-2) is coming off a thrilling 16-15 come-from-behind victory over Longwood Wednesday. Sophomore Lisa Bernardini scored a career-high five goals, including the game-winner with only 23 seconds remaining.
Senior's Ashley Kellogg and Nicole McMahon tallied four goals each to ignite a potent ODU offensive attack that scored a season-high 16 goals.
Virginia Tech (3-7) broke a three-game losing streak with a 22-8 win over Davidson Wednesday. A season-high 12 different Hokies registered goals and Ryan Rotanz led the way with four scores.
