GREENVILLE, SC-- The ODU Monarchs tied for fifth at the Furman Intercollegiate,while senior Eric Onesi (Bear, DE.) finished 14th.
Clemson won the event with an 865 for 54 holes, 14 strokes better than Chattanooga.ODU tied with Kennesaw state with 903 which was two strokes better than seventh place Virginia Tech.
Onesi, the CAA's Golfer of the Week last week shot 75 for the second straight day to finish at 221 which was 11 strokes behind co-champions Ben Martin of Clemson and Steven Fox of Chattanooga who finished at 210.
The Monarchs return to action, April 5-6 at the Cowboy Classic in Scosttsdale, AZ.
