NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team will welcome St. Joseph's to the Powhatan Sports Complex on Saturday for a 12 noon contest.
The Lady Monarchs (0-2) are coming off a 10 day layoff after dropping a pair of games to start the season. In its home opener on March 10, ODU let a halftime lead slip in a 14-10 loss to Richmond.
Sophomore Lisa Bernardini tied her career-high with four goals against the Spiders and she also dished out three assists to set a new career-high with seven points.
St. Joseph's has dropped five straight contests to fall to 2-6 overall. The Hawks fell at No. 5 Penn 14-0 on Wednesday.
Grace Dinn leads St. Joseph's with 17 points on 15 goals and two assists. Jen Peters has recorded 11 goals and Alana Glanell has dished out a team-high 10 assists on the year.
Old Dominion is 2-0 all-time against the Hawks, including a 14-10 win in Philadelphia in 2009.
