PINEHURST, NC-- Old Dominion Junior Sam Wall (Essex, England) fired a 70 today and finished the second round with a 141 and is now tied for first at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. As a team, the Monarchs moved up from eighth to third, just eight strokes behind the leader.
ODU shot 289, the second lowest of the day. Penn State leads the tournament with a 580,while Mikey Moyers of Virginia Tech is tied with Wall at 141.
Sophomore Neil Henderson (North Berwick, Scotland) is tied for sixth with a 145 after firing a 69 today.The final round is Sunday.
