Old Dominion University men's and women's basketball season tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. in the Ted Constant Convocation Center box office, online at www.odusports.com, or by calling 683-4444.
The Monarchs squad features the return of five starters off their 2009 CIT post-season championship. Anchored by All CAA center standout Gerald Lee, the Monarchs will host 17 home games highlighted by non conference games with Marshall, Mt. St. Mary's, Charlotte and Duquesne, and the always tough CAA rivals. ODU opens conference play on Saturday, Dec. 5 against Delaware.
The Lady Monarchs home schedule features a national slate of opponents, including 2009 Final Four participant Stanford, NCAA participants Ole Miss and Florida, along with N.C. State, Hampton University and the CAA opponents. The Lady Monarchs return three starters off last season's team, and open on Nov. 13 against Stanford at the Constant Center. ODU will host the 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball lst and 2nd round tournament on March 21 and 23 and all session books are provided with a discount with the purchase season tickets.
Ticket discounts are available for youth 17 and under, senior citizens, and family plans offer two free youth tickets with the purchase of two adult season tickets. For more information contact the box office at 683-4444.
