The ODU Monarchs (8-4) return to action Wednesday night when they host Duquesne (9-4) at the Constant Convocation Center at 7 p.m. GAMENOTES ATTACHED. This will be the Monarchs fourth opponent from the Atlantic 10. ODU returns to CAA play on Saturday at George Mason.

SERIES VS. DUQUESNE
ODU leads the series, 4-1. Last year, ODU defeated the Dukes, 86-60 in Pittsburgh.Five Monarchs scored in double figures led by Gerald Lee with 15 and Darius James with 14. ODU shot .577 (33-58) from the field, while Duquesne was at .462(24-52). Eric Evans had 18 for the Dukes.

ODU AND THE ATLANTIC 10The Monarchs play four teams from the Atlantic 10 this year. ODU defeated Charlotte and lost at Richmond and Dayton earlier this year.
ODU DEFENSEThe 38 points for Mount St. Mary's was the lowest total points scored for the Mountaineers since Feb. 10, 1950 when they tallied 37 points against Loyola. It's the second time this season that ODU has held an opponent to only 38 points as Bethune Cookman managed the same total in a 69-38 ODU victory on November 15. ODU ranks second nationally in scoring defense.
ODU has held five teams under 50 points thus far.
