KITTY HAWK, NC--Old Dominion University senior golfer Eric Onesi (Bear, DE.) fired a 69 to Lead the first round of the 30th Annual ODU/Seascape Collegiate Tournament. As a team, the Defending champion Monarchs lead the field by two strokes.
ODU placed three golfers in the top ten. Onesi leads the field by four strokes, while Sam Wall (Essex, England) and Neil Henderson (North Berwick, Scotland) are tied for seventh with 74.'s.
ODU as a team tallied a 298 with George Washington second at 300 in very windy and damp Conditions.
Nick MacDonald of Hartford, Jayson Judy of Elon, Chance Pepitone of Pennsylvania, Greg Matthias Of Delaware and Martin Liu of George Washington each shot 73 and are tied for second.
Onesi shot 34 on the front and 35 on the back for his 69. The final round is Tuesday.
