RICHMOND, VA-- Three former ODU Soccer standouts,Yomby William ('07), Edson Elcock ('06)and Ross Mackenzie ('06) will lead the Richmond Kickers into the finals of the USL Second DivisionTitle game this Saturday against Charlotte. This is a rematch of the 2006 finals.

Game time is 8:00 p.m. at the University of Richmond Stadiuim. Tickets ar $15.00youth and adult and are on sale via Richmondkickers.com. The match will be televised on the Fox Soccer Channel.

Richmond advanced to the finals with a 1-0 overtime win over Harrisburg CityIslanders.Edson Elcock (Brooklyn, N.Y.)earned first team All-American honors at ODU where he helped the Monarchs reach the NCAA Tournament in each of his three seasons. In 2006, he scored 11 goals with six assists. He recently was a midfielder for USL-1 team Puerto Rico Islanders, having joined from the Kansas City Wizards of the MLS.Yomby William(Cameroon) was drafted by the Kansas City Wizards in teh 2008 MLS Superdraft.He signed a developmental contract with the Wizards before joining Puerto Rico lastspring. He made five appearances with the Islanders in 2008.William helped lead the Monarchs to three straight NCAA appearances and the 2007CAA title. He was named All-CAA in 2007.Ross Mackenzie (Richmond, VA.) joined Richmond after playing the 2008 season with the USL first division Carolina RailHawks. He also scored four goals withfour assists during his rookie season with the Wilmington Hammerheads, in 2007.MacKenzie helped lead ODU the the NCAA Sweet 16 as senior.
