NORFOLK, Va. -- Rising senior Hanna Warren (Green Lane, Pa.) has been selected for the Junior National Training Combine, which will be held at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., July 16-19. Warren now is eligible for selection to the Women's Under-21 National Team and 2009 Women's Junior World Cup Team, which will be announced at the conclusion of the combine.
The Women's Junior World Cup team will compete at the the 2009 BDO Women's Junior World Cup in Boston, August 3-18, 2009. The tournament features the sixteen top junior national teams in the world.
Warren enters her senior campaign this fall having totaled six goals and seven assists during her career with the Lady Monarchs. Last season, she appeared and started in all 23 contests. The Green Lane, Pa. native served as ODU's primary stick stop as a member of the penalty corner unit, where she posted five assists. On the other side of the pitch, the midfield/defender made three defensive saves.

The Old Dominion field hockey team kicks off the 2009 schedule with a four-game homestand at the Powhatan Sports Complex beginning with Penn State on Friday, August 28th. The Lady Monarchs will also host Villanova, national champion Maryland, and Virginia during the stretch.
