SUFFOLK, VA-- The team of Adam Horton and Preston Leigh finished with a 129 over36 holes to win the Championship flight of the 34th annual Spivey Rentals Scholarship golf Classic at Sleepy Hole Sunday.
ODU head coach Murray Rudisill teammed with ODU Golf Hall of Famer J.P. Leigh ('68)tied for first in the first flight with the team of Cooper-Gehlhoff with 139's.
A total of 108 teams participated in six flights. Proceeds from the tournamenthelp benefit the ODU Intercollegiate Foundation for the men's golf program.
Saturday's tournament actionwas cancelled because of the strong rain storms that came through the Hampton Roadsarea.
