NORFOLK, VA-- The baseball game between Old Dominion and Elon scheduled for today has been postponed because of wet grounds due to the heavy rain that passed through the Hampton Roads area today.
ODU will play the Norfolk Tides in the annual Bank of the Commonwealth scholarship game Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at Harbor Park. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children age 18 and under. You may purchase your tickets at Harbor Park thenight of the game.
Josh Wright, ODU's red-shirt freshman firstbaseman (Bridgewater, VA.) was namedCAA Rookie of the Week. Wright batted .375 (6-16) and scored six runs in ODU'sfive games last week. In ODU's three game series at JMU, he hit .385 with twodoubles, two homers, four runs scored and five RBI.
ODU returns to CAA action this weekend in Atlanta against Georgia State.
